Wow Time Flies

Alright so I haven't really written anything since my New Years and so I need yet another rambling update. So after New Years we (Rebels) continued our training camp in California. The OC to be exact....actually we were everywhere. We we living in the OC, we trained in Irvine and we played mostly in Newport. It was such great weather while we were there except we trained at the most rediculous times of the day. We trained too early for any real sun and we trained too late at night for any sun at all..thats right..pitch black. We got some days off where we went to 6 Flags and rode all the rollercoasters and also we went to Hollywood one afternoon and walked the walk of Fame to the Chinese Mann Theater and also went to Rodeo drive to see the xpensive shops. After we got back from the intense ass kicking trip we started school on the 17th. I am entering my third week of second semester so not too much to report just yet, but I have a feeling this semester is going to be a lot more challenging. I definately will need to stay focused. My personal life is going great and I am happy and smiling. I have only a few more weeks of swimming left and then it will die down a tad...but only that much. I will write with more detail later but swimming in the morning makes me think about the bed. Ciao y'all

New Year Update

Well its been a long time since an update, but that's only because I have been so busy so I am going to try and do some ctach up. So after New Years Eve (My 21st Birthday!!) We continued our training camp in Vegas. On the 6th about, we headed to California where we began our "away" training camp. We stayed in Santa Ana, trained in Irvine at the UCI pool (outdoor but COLD!) and we played in Newport and the OC. It was a hard training camp and there were times when I could hardly move....literally! I have to say though, the whole thing was incredible. On our outing we went to New Port Beach like I said, where the filming of the show OC is held. Quite a beautiful place! We also went to 6 Flags one day and we rode all the rollercoasters! AND me and a couple girls on my team piled our money together and wen't bungee/freefalling on this really cool ride. Hard to explain but SOOOO much fun! On another afternoon off some of us got Paul (one of our coaches) to drive us to Hollywood! It was so much fun. We walked the walk of Fame all the way down to the Chinese Mann Theater with all the ahnd and foot prints. We saw a lot of neat things there. Tehn we went to Rodeo Drive to see all the incredibly expensive stores! I felt really out of place. Overall I had a lot of fun, I got a tan and I got in shape too so I can't complain too much. I have just started school for this last semester and so far so good...only 2 days in. I will keep everyone posted so keep watching!

New Years in Vegas!

Well my 21st birthday here in Vegas was amazing! I got treated by all my friends and felt very special for the day. e had practice in the morning which wasn't really bad but still hard, then I went back and got breakfast treated (Thanks Devin!!) and relaxed all afternoon with friends. Then when the night came I went out and bought my first batch of alcohol as a 21 year-old! I went to the grocery store, because they sell alcohol there (weird!) When we came back I got a bunch of cupcakes that the girls made me and Jenna also made me an amazing CD with songs that all had the word beautiful in it...for those of you who know that secret about me. I was so happy! Jonas bought me a swedish childrens book that teaches you random everyday objects names in swedish...soon I'll be fluent! Loved that gift!

Soon after we started to drink and went over to a couple guys place across the street where the house party began. It was awesome and small so we all interacted until it was time to go down to the Strip. Oh man the Strip!! I have never seen so many people and fireworks all at once! I was amazed at how unreal everything was! I included some pics for you guys to see. Enjoy!
