Alright so my Mum just sent me an email telling me that I am a bit behind on my blog. So I checked it out and I see it has been a while since I have done an update. Okay so I will just tell you about my summer and then to what I am doing now.
So two thirds of my summer consisted of me working all the time and I managed to fit some swimming into it but that didn't work so well. So I was back at work at Lees Sheet Metal and the Bear Creek Outdoor Pool which turned out to be a lot more demanding then it was supposed to so extra stress from the very beginning. But I did get some vacation time. I went 'camping' Canad Day Long Weekend with some guys I swim with, I went to Merritt Mountain Music Festival in BC in July and got to see some wicked cool concerts. Then to top it all off I managed to find my way to EUROPE! I indeed splurged and went to see my Swedish Lover: Jonas. I left at the beginning of August and was in Europe for about 10 days or more. While in Sweden I experienced and learned someof the culture and absolutely loved it. Then as a treat Jonas took me to Paris for 4 days! I have to say that it was the most memorable vacations I have been on! We walked everywhere and I saw so much historical monuments AND we climbed the Eiffel Tower's stairs. That's right!
So when I returned Jonas came with me and we spent our remaining days in Canada with my family before we took off to come back here to Vegas. I was a little nervous about coming back but now that I am here and swimming and school have both started and are in full swing it's not that bad. I am taking the training a lot better then I did last year (by far!!) and school will be tough but I think I can handle it. My new location off-campus is awesome and my Canadian roomates are easy to get along with. I have everything pretty much set up for the year and it feels good.
So here is my update and I hope it was efficient enough...if not just email and complain like my Mama...hahaha I respond better to nagging apparently.
